ServicesRoof Replacement
Roof Replacement in Bethany, OK
Once a roof is past saving, we strip it to bare wood, fix the decking underneath and build a new roof that keeps water out. We mark off the work zone, keep your family clear of it and tell you each morning what the day will bring.

A new roof, put on the careful way
A roof replacement means removing every old shingle, the underlayment and the worn flashing, then building a new roof from the decking up. It is the right call when the shingles have reached the end of their life, when leaks keep showing up in new places, or when storm damage is spread across most of the roof.
We plan each job around the people who live under it. That means a set area for the dumpster, ladders tied off, crews in fall protection and a walk of the yard with a magnet before anyone goes home. Kids and pets can still use the house while we work. We just tell you which doors and sides of the house to avoid that day.
If you are not sure you need a whole roof, we will say so. Sometimes roof repair or a roof inspection is the better first step, and we would rather you spend money where it actually helps.

What your roof replacement includes
- 01
Full tear-off
We remove all existing layers down to the wood. Older homes around Bethany sometimes have two layers of shingles, and stripping both lets us see the decking and keeps extra weight off the framing.
- 02
Decking check and repair
We walk the bare decking and replace boards that are soft, rotted or delaminated. We show you photos of anything we find before it gets covered back up.
- 03
Underlayment and ice and water shield
New synthetic underlayment goes over the whole roof, with ice and water shield in the valleys and around penetrations where water tends to get in during heavy rain and ice storms.
- 04
New flashing and vents
Chimney, wall and pipe flashing are replaced, not reused. We also check attic ventilation, since a hot, poorly vented attic shortens shingle life in an Oklahoma summer.
- 05
Shingles installed to spec
Shingles go on with the nailing pattern the manufacturer calls for, which matters a great deal when strong spring winds come through.
- 06
Daily cleanup and final sweep
Debris goes straight into the dumpster, not onto your lawn. At the end of each day and again at the finish, we run magnets over the driveway, beds and grass to pick up stray nails.
Questions about Roof Replacement?
Call(405) 644-4260How to tell your roof may need replacing
Grit collecting at the downspouts
Shingles shed their sandy surface as they age. Piles of that grit near the downspouts, or patches on the roof that look smooth and dark, mean the shingles are wearing out.
Shingles that curl or split everywhere
A few shingles blown loose is an easy repair. When cupped edges and cracks show up on slope after slope, the roof is near the end of its useful life.
Water spots in more than one room
One leak is usually fixable on its own. If new stains keep appearing in different parts of the house, the roof is likely failing in several spots at once.
A roofline that dips
A low spot along the ridge or between rafters can mean the decking has soaked up water and weakened. That is a safety issue, so keep everyone off the roof until we have checked it.
Storm damage across most of the roof
If hail bruised or wind lifted shingles over nearly every slope, replacing the whole roof may make more sense than patching. Our Storm Damage Repair page covers what to do after a storm.
How the job runs, start to finish
- 1
Look at the roof together
We climb up, measure and take photos. Then we sit down with you, go through the pictures and explain whether repair or replacement is the smarter choice.
- 2
Written estimate and planning
You receive a written estimate, line by line, listing materials and any decking work we expect. We pull the permit when the city calls for one and choose a start date with the forecast in mind.
- 3
Protecting your home before tear-off
We cover shrubs, AC units and windows, park the dumpster where your driveway stays usable, and rope off the work zone so family and pets stay out of the path of falling debris.
- 4
Tear-off and install
Most homes go from old roof to new in one to two days. We strip only the sections we can cover with underlayment before quitting time, which means your home is sealed up every night.
- 5
Cleanup and walkthrough
After one last pass with the magnets, we walk around the property with you, review the finished roof and answer your questions before calling the job complete.
What goes into the cost of a new roof
Each figure we quote comes from measuring your roof on site, never from a phone guess. The written estimate puts every part of the job on a separate line, so nothing gets buried in a single total. Below are the items that move that total the most.
- Roof area and pitch
- A larger roof needs more shingles, more underlayment and more hours. Steep pitches also slow the work, since everyone up there needs added fall protection and a careful pace.
- Layers to tear off
- When an earlier owner put new shingles over old ones, there may be two or three layers to remove. That means more labor and more space in the dumpster.
- Condition of the decking
- Soft or rotted decking must be replaced before the new roof goes down. Your estimate lists a per-sheet price ahead of time, so a few new boards never become a surprise charge.
- The material you go with
- Architectural shingles, impact-rated shingles and metal roofing all carry different prices. We explain what each brings to your home so you can decide knowing everything.
- Chimneys, skylights and valleys
- Each of these needs its own flashing and careful handwork. The more your roof has, the longer the job runs.
Questions we hear about new roofs
Can my family safely stay home while you work?
Yes, and most families do. Expect noise and some wall vibration, so it's smart to take down framed photos and shelves on outside walls. Each day we'll tell you which doors to use, and we keep kids and pets away from where debris comes down.
How long will my new roof take?
Most homes go from tear-off to finished in one to two days. A big or steep roof, or added decking repair, can add roughly a day. When rain or strong wind shows up, we stop, because we never send a crew onto a wet or gusty roof.
Will insurance pay for a new roof?
It might, if a covered event such as hail or wind caused the damage. We'll photograph what we find and walk you through how claims usually go. What the policy pays is your adjuster's decision.
What happens if you find rotten decking?
We pause, photograph the bad boards and show you before replacing anything. The per-sheet price is already on your estimate, so you know the cost before any board is pulled.
Do my gutters need replacing with the roof?
Only when they need it. Sound gutters that drain well can stay, and we're careful not to harm them during the job. If they sag or are pulling off the fascia, it's usually simpler to do them with the roof, and our Gutters page lays out the options.
Do you work in towns near Bethany?
Yes. We replace roofs for homeowners throughout the area, including Yukon, Warr Acres, Piedmont and Oklahoma City. The Service Areas page lists every town we cover.
